If you’ve watched my other videos or visited my blog before, you know that one of my primary roles is to focus my clients on creating and sticking to a long-term strategy rather than chasing market highs or reacting to bad news. We are all susceptible to biases in our decision-making. We can become overconfident and believe that we can accurately predict the future of the markets. We can also have confirmation bias in which we seek out only that information that confirms what we already think and avoid information that we don’t want to hear. I believe working with a financial advisor can help you stay on track with your plan in pursuit of reaching your financial goals. Lots of things seem like a good idea at the time, but good decision-making often requires outside advice to help you get all the facts. That’s one of the roles I play for my clients, and if you’d like to learn more about how I work, please contact me. I’d be happy to talk further with you about it. Check out the rest of the articles and videos on my blog, too. They’re there to help you make educated decisions, too.
